Keir Burt joined St Andrews Utd in the summer of 2026. Arriving from Sauchie, the former Alloa Athletic academy player is known for his exceptional athleticism, confidence, and precise distribution, Keir brings fantastic energy and talent to the squad.
Owain joins Saints from Dundonald Bluebell after gaining valuable experience there following his spell with Alloa Athletic Under-20s. Owain is a young goalkeeper who is eager to improve and hungry to succeed.

Defenders
Rian made the move to St Andrews United in the summer of 2025, bringing with him valuable experience from his time at Alloa Athletic. A naturally talented and composed defender, he is known for his technical ability and confidence in possession. Comfortable with the ball at his feet, Rian is not only reliable at the back but also capable of initiating attacks by driving forward from defence. His blend of composure, vision, and attacking intent makes him a dynamic presence on the pitch and a valuable addition to the squad

Jason arrived with a wealth of experience, having made over 400 appearances in the Scottish leagues. Most recently with Arbroath and Kelty Hearts, Jason was part of the Arbroath squad that secured promotion to the Scottish Championship last season. His leadership and defensive experience are a massive asset to the team.

17-year-old Anthony Gillan joined United after coming through the ranks at the Dunfermline Athletic Academy, where he developed at every youth level. A dynamic and hardworking player, Anthony is known for his tough tackling, energy, and strong mentality.

David Cross is a strong and dependable defender who joined St Andrews United in the summer of 2026 following spells with Bo’ness Athletic, Sauchie Juniors, Crossgates Primrose and Hutchison Vale. Bringing quality, experience and defensive strength, David adds further depth to Fraser Duncan’s squad and will bolster the Saints back line.

Tom, a versatile left-sided player, is on loan at St Andrews Utd and arrives capable of filling a number of roles across the pitch. Comfortable at left-back but equally effective further forward, he brings energy, adaptability and a real desire to develop his game. Still young, Tom is eager to make his mark at The Rec and add competition to the squad.
Taylor Penman is on loan from Lowland League side Bo'ness United and joined Saints in August, 2026. Taylor is an athletic, hard-working right back who is keen to continue his development with regular first-team football.

Midfielders
Another ex DUFC academy player who has also had a spell at Cowdenbeath. An athletic player with loads of energy who helps the team with and without the ball.
Ross Cunningham is St Andrews Utd's longest-standing player. Known for his versatility and skill, Ross is a well-rounded footballer with a cultured left foot, capable of excelling in various positions. Cunningham, nicknamed “Rossco,” joined the team on July 1, 2015, and made his debut on February 27, 2016
Danny arrived in the summer of 2026 with an impressive footballing pedigree, having previously represented Rutherglen Glencairn, Sauchie Juniors and Linlithgow Rose. Comfortable operating in midfield or further forward, he is renowned for his technical ability, creativity and attacking threat.
Alex joined Saints from Heriot-Watt University in 2024 and has since produced a number of excellent performances. The skilful central midfielder possesses great close ball control and eye for a pass
Paul Simpson is an experienced midfielder who joined St Andrews United FC in the summer of 2026 from East of Scotland Premier Division champions Hill of Beath Hawthorn. A creative and versatile player with a wealth of experience, Paul has built a reputation as a consistent performer with a winning mentality. His quality on the ball and ability to influence games adds further strength to the Saints' midfield

Forwards
The former Dunfermline youth player with lightening pace and a brilliant eye for goal has flourished into one of the most dangerous attacking players in the EOS leagues. Lewis recently become only the fifth player in St Andrews United’s history to score more than 30 goals a season on two occasions!
Joe is a proven striker originally from Montrose, where he began his footballing journey. After relocating to Edinburgh, he featured for Edinburgh University and recently made headlines with a hat-trick against Sauchie. Joe adds valuable attacking experience and goal-scoring ability to our squad.
St Andrews United FC signed forward Regan Lumsden in September 2025. Lumsden made a name for himself in the Lowland Football League with Linlithgow Rose, impressing fans and opponents alike with his clinical finishing and instinctive positioning. Regan is a player who can make an immediate impact. His goal-scoring instincts and attacking versatility give Saints another dimension in the final third.
Mark Smith is a talented striker who joined St Andrews United in the summer of 2026 following spells with Sauchie Juniors and Jeanfield Swifts. A hardworking forward with a natural eye for goal, Mark adds further attacking strength to Fraser Duncan’s squad
Ross Kavanagh is a proven goalscorer who joined St Andrews United FC in the summer of 2026, bringing a wealth of experience and a consistent eye for goal. He has scored over 100 goals during a standout spell with Sauchie Juniors and finished as the league's top scorer in the 2022/23 season. Having gained valuable experience across a number of clubs and levels within the East of Scotland game, Ross adds quality, strength, and attacking firepower to the Saints.
