Greg Shields joined St Andrews United FC as first team manager in November 2024. Greg enjoyed a distinguished playing career as a defender, featuring for clubs such as Rangers, Dunfermline Athletic, and Kilmarnock. He also gained experience with spells at Charlton Athletic and the United States' Carolina RailHawks. Following his retirement as a player, Shields transitioned into coaching, working with youth and senior teams, most recently at Dunfermline Athletic. Greg holds a UEFA A license, US A license & UEFA Elite Youth A license and brings a wealth of experience and leadership to St Andrews United

Stuart Milne joined St Andrews Utd alongside Greg Shields as Assistant Manager. Stuart is the current Director of Football at St Andrews University and has worked with Greg at Dunfermline Athletic over the last three years. Stuart started his footballing career as Head Coach of Raith Rovers U13 team before moving on to have spells at East Fife and Dundee United. He has also had positions at the SFA and Fife Elite Football Academy. He brings a wealth of experience in player development which will greatly benefit the whole St Andrews United squad

St Andrews Utd are delighted that Stevie Clark has agreed to stay on at the club and join Greg and Stuart in forming what we believe to be one of the strongest coaching team in the lower leagues of Scottish Football! Stevie was unbeaten in his spell as caretaker head first team coach which included a superb cup win against Hurlford Utd in November 2024
