Dan is an experienced centre back who played youth football with Castlebridge Colts and Alloa Athletic before joining Cowdenbeath at the age of 16. The big defender who is strong in the air then spent the second half of the 2011/12 season on loan at Ballingry Rovers prior to enjoying a spell in England with Darlington and South Shields

More recently, Dan produced some impressive performances against St Andrews United in the East of Scotland First Division before joining Kirkcaldy and Dysart at the start of the 2023/24 campaign
