Luke joined St Andrews United from Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts. The former St Ninian’s High School pupil is only 20 years old yet he played youth football at Celtic and Raith Rovers before making eleven appearances for Cowdenbeath in SPFL League Two. The powerful striker subsequently enjoyed brief spells at Burntisland Shipyard and Gala Fairydean Rovers prior to signing for Bonnyrigg Rose in August 2023. Luke then notched one goal in four matches for Bonnyrigg’s first team but he spent the latter half of the 2023/24 campaign scoring seven goals for The Swifts’ Senior side in the East of Scotland Premier Division
