St Andrews Utd 2-1 Coldstream FC
St Andrews United produced a very late comeback to progress to the second round of the East of Scotland Cup. Trailing with 15 minutes to go, goals from Kyle Sneddon and John Tod saved the day and we look forward to being in the hat for the next round draw due to take place in the coming days

Haddington Athletic 2-3 St Andrews Utd
An incredible game in East Lothian saw St Andrews Utd pick up a superb three points with a 3-2 victory over Haddington Athletic. This game had everything including a couple of world class saves from Logan Halliday towards the end of the match which helped Saints secure a crucial win. St Andrews started brightly and went ahead after 18 minutes when Lewis Craik scored following a defence splitting pass from Lewis Payne. Saints then went further ahead on the 40 minute mark when roles were reversed and Payne excellently tucked the ball away after a through ball from Craik. Saints looked to be cruising to half time but a debatable foul was awarded to Haddington on the edge of the box and Davies excellently hit the back of the net from the resultant free kick
With Haddington back in the game, the Hi Hi’s started the second half on the front foot with Saints struggling to create many chances. This however changed on the 58 minute mark when a Ryan McManus free kick found the net sneaking in at the near post.
Haddington piled on the pressure towards the end of the match and on the 82nd minute, scored their second goal of the game after Quinn stabbed home his first goal for the club. Following this it was pretty much backs to the wall for Saints and it took two outstanding late saves from Halliday to secure the 3 points for St Andrews Utd
